Youngest age of a lung cancer patient

Youngest age of a lung cancer patient?
What is the youngest age you have known or heard of a person getting lung cancer? I've only known older people in their 50's and 60's to have it.

Depends on if you are referring to a primary or secondary cancer. The lung is one of the most common sites for cancer to spread whether it is an adult or child. That would be considered a secondary cancer. Cancer in children is rare and children can have a primary lung cancer. However, a childs type of lung cancer is not the same as an adults. Pleuropulmonary blastoma is a rare and aggressive childhood lung cancer. Most common in children under six.
