Ever since the middle of Summer 08, I've been smoking weed. Usually only once or twice a week. The most I've smoked in a week was 5 or so times, but that was only on two occasions. I also have asthma.. Do you think this is enough to cause lung cancer?

hey, you should just stop smoking weed (or smoking anything) altogether, full-stop.

No you don't have lung cancer. But if you have asthma it's pretty dumb to breathe in anything other than air. Pot has irritants in just like cigarettes.

Kenny, please stop. I moderate an online lung cancer support group and read the effects of chemo and radiation. Plus, the grief family members go through is awful. Pot is illegal and for many good paying jobs--there will be background checks. You are going to have to admit you smoked pot. If you lie--it will be even worse if caught. Stop right now and people are very open to forgiveness and just being young and foolish. Go for a natural high and clean out your lungs. Go running!

Chances are you won't have lung cancer but you need to think this whole weed smoking thing out and make sure that is indeed what you want to continue. Yes, it's illegal but you have to be responsible. You need to also go through your family history to see if any other family member had cancer. There's ALWAYS a chance, if, and or but.

If you have asthma, use a vaporizer. iv even heard rumors that it helps people with asthma. and u dont got lung cancer...people smoke everyday for like 30 yrs, nobody ever died from weed...ESPEACIALLY if u use a bong, or better yet a vaporizer...but i dont like vaporized personally, they are alot more boring than blunt and bongs...u probably dont care, but whatever... use a vaporizer
