ive been smoking for like 7 months and i smoke about 6 or 7 cigarettes per day and i got a sore throat and a cough and when i cough phlegm comes up could i have lung cancer? or is it just a cough when you get a cold?

No, but you could have a cold. Lung cancer takes years to develop.
