please help me my mom has lung cancer she has being through chemo and radiation, last treatment june 30th since then she just hasnt being the same but in the last three weeks she seems to be getting worse not eating getting weaker and slepping more than usual, but today she has being throwing up all day and says she doesnt feel right, she wont go to a doctor, what should i do and why is this happening

I would suggest calling the hospital ER and asking for their advice on the matter. Or you could just call an ambulance.

Get the number of her Doctor and find out, if those are after effects from all the chemo and radiation. She has been through a lot and its normal to be very week and tired. She needs to get her strength back and needs a lot of rest and very good nutrition. Buy some ensure if she is not eating and give her vitamins. Maybe she just caught a "bug", because her immune system is down. Check with her Doctor.

I am terribly sorry to hear about your mum, it would be better if she saw the doctor so try to convince her or call the doctor yourself, I saw my dad go through the same thing. be there for your mum and give her all the love you can and let her know that you love her, give her as much comfort as you can, it is all that you can do, remember that you have known and loved her and done all you can to help her. god bless you and your mum, my thoughts and prayers are with you both.

I am so sorry sweetie,please tell your mom to go for you she needs to find out what is going on. Tell her many people care and want her better for her family. She is going though hell from the chemo and radiation. It is most important at this time that she KNOW that there are remedies available to her to that she should NOT have to suffer at all. Comfort is the key. The sleeping should be no suprise, as her body is working so hard and I am guessing she is on heavy medications. You may be able to just "consult" with her Doctor via phone for more suggestions or possibly antinausea medication for the throwing up. Again, make her comfortable as possible and enjoy any waking time with her

She is probably giving up. It is terrible to go thru treatments like that My husband had lung cancer we went thru chemo radiation drugs the trreatments killed him. ruined his bone marrow. Buy an ozonizer water purifier and give her a freshly ozonated glass before breakfast and 2 more times every day. Raw carrots, no red meat. If this doesn't get results after 2 months, go to an ozone therapy clinic.

I'm very sorry to hear that, but I'm sure the doctor probably gave her less than 3 months survival but probably wouldn't tell you! Small cell with metastasis to the brain is terminal. Even with chemo and radiation. Small undifferentiated cell in any organ = poor survival! Hopefully she is still well enough to do something she always wanted to do!

Wow... that is a lot of info and I doubt if it can all be answered on here. in a nut shell Preventative: healthy life style, stress free, healthy diet Improve health: alkalize your body, exercise, supplements, medical treatment often helps. Related issues: Pneumonia, weight loss, depression, pain, metastasis. Alternatives: I am a believer in alternative in a holistic way. To help overcome cancer, one has to change the WHOLE outline of themselves. Give the body what it lacks to help the body heal. To go into more detail, feel free to email me to discuss.

My Grandfather started coughing up blood.

I found out one year ago that I had stage 4 lung cancer. I just had my yearly labs done, thats how they found it . There were no symptoms at all I felt fine. Now Iam having chemo every other week for the rest of my life. Although I had no symptoms at frist but now alot of coughing and flem .wheezing. there are many variables that come into play. ie age of patient, how advanced it is, what type cancer it is.....lots of things.

The out look for people with lung cancer is not generally good. It isn't possible to give any real estimate of how serious the problem is without knowing a lot more about the patient than their initial diagnosis. The only way to know for certain what the likely outcome would be is to have a serious talk with the doctors.

Sadly, lung cancer is the malignancy with the highest death rate in the United States: 87% of male patients die within 5 years of diagnosis, 83% of females die within that time frame. If you do get any symptoms such as: bloody spit, change of cough pattern, pain in lungs, you are advised to see a doctor straight away as when metastasized, survival rates are very low.

First they will take a bi opsy and go from there ...... Chemo therapy first then a trans plant. The best place in the world if the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minn..
