when lung cancer develops in the lining of the bronchi how is the oxygen we breath in affected by this and then how is it affected again when it reaches the alveoli? please help!

reduced the radius of the bronchi. allowing for smaller amounts of air to pass through, if the cancer is only there then that's the major issue, if it passes to the aveoli then it blocks the gaseous transport and thus spots o2 absortion in that area of the lung.
