I would suggest calling the hospital ER and asking for their advice on the matter. Or you could just call an ambulance.
2 :
Get the number of her Doctor and find out, if those are after effects from all the chemo and radiation. She has been through a lot and its normal to be very week and tired. She needs to get her strength back and needs a lot of rest and very good nutrition. Buy some ensure if she is not eating and give her vitamins. Maybe she just caught a "bug", because her immune system is down. Check with her Doctor.
3 :
try to convince her to go to the doctor or er. She really needs to. she's probably depressed at all that's gone on, and she may be giving up. talk to her.
4 :
she did what she wanted to to get it let her go and be happy you do what you want to now and br happy again
5 :
Please see the webpages for more details on Lung cancer.

I am terribly sorry to hear about your mum, it would be better if she saw the doctor so try to convince her or call the doctor yourself, I saw my dad go through the same thing. be there for your mum and give her all the love you can and let her know that you love her, give her as much comfort as you can, it is all that you can do, remember that you have known and loved her and done all you can to help her. god bless you and your mum, my thoughts and prayers are with you both.

I am so sorry sweetie, please tell your mom to go for you she needs to find out what is going on. Tell her many people care and want her better for her family. It could be she is afraid to go ,this treatment is very exhausting and hard on a person. Give her lots of love and soft hugs you are a wonderful child to have! You are in my prayers, hugs to you and your mom. PS if she won't go call emergency and tell them her symptoms just like you shared with us Take care ~A~
8 :
PLEASE get her to the doctor. Get off Y!A and get her to a professional. Hope it's OK.

She is going though hell from the chemo and radiation. It is killing off her immune system and stopping it from doing what it was made to do (Rid the body of disease and infections) She needs to boost her immune system with glyconutrients. Read my cancer information and testimonials. I will say a prayer for her.
10 :
Visit my website check out the testimonials www. zeolitesfordetox.com/ davidlawrence email for more info I would love to know if I have helped davrlaw@yahoo.com

It is most important at this time that she KNOW that there are remedies available to her to that she should NOT have to suffer at all. Comfort is the key. The sleeping should be no suprise, as her body is working so hard and I am guessing she is on heavy medications. You may be able to just "consult" with her Doctor via phone for more suggestions or possibly antinausea medication for the throwing up. Again, make her comfortable as possible and enjoy any waking time with her
12 :
Though it is late and the cancer appears to be advanced you might find some help in Patrick Quillen's book Beating Cancer With Nutrition, or in Michael Murray's How to Prevent and Treat Cancer with Natural Medicine. Never give up hope! Good luck and God bless!
13 :
She is probably giving up. It is terrible to go thru treatments like that My husband had lung cancer we went thru chemo radiation drugs the trreatments killed him. ruined his bone marrow. She needs to try to eat or at least drink BOOST it helped my husband keep going. I am so sorry for your mom and you and your family. It sucks.I will keep you all in my thoughts. Good luck honey and just be there for her tell her you love her and try to comfort her.
14 :
Buy an ozonizer water purifier and give her a freshly ozonated glass before breakfast and 2 more times every day. Raw carrots, no red meat. If this doesn't get results after 2 months, go to an ozone therapy clinic.

Lung Cancer
Lung Cancer??
my mom was just diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, it's in her lungs and brain & is at stage four. What are her chances of survival??

I'm very sorry to hear that, but I'm sure the doctor probably gave her less than 3 months survival but probably wouldn't tell you! Small cell with metastasis to the brain is terminal. Even with chemo and radiation. Small undifferentiated cell in any organ = poor survival! Hopefully she is still well enough to do something she always wanted to do!
2 :
Stage 4 is the last stage of cancer you can have and is not good. I'm sure her doctors have made some recommendations to her about possible treatment options. She now has to decide about quality of life issues and whether she wants to go ahead with those treatments. I'm sorry you both will be going through this terrible turn of events.

Certain factors affect prognosis (chance of recovery) and treatment options. The prognosis (chance of recovery) and treatment options depend on the following: The stage of the cancer (whether it is in the chest cavity only or has spread to other places in the body). The patient̢۪s gender and general health. The blood level of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), a substance found in the blood that may indicate cancer when the level is higher than normal. Stage 4 Stage 4 is the most advanced stage, where the cancer has spread. Understandably, the survival statistics are lowest for this stage. Unfortunately, lung cancer is often diagnosed late. Almost half of all those diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer already have stage 4 disease. People diagnosed at this stage are mostly treated with chemotherapy to relieve symptoms. Between 15 and 35 out of every 100 people (15 - 35%) treated for stage 4 lung cancer will be alive a year later. For those not fit enough to have chemotherapy treatment, this figure drops to about 10 out of every 100 people (10%). On average, only about 2 out of every 100 people (2%) diagnosed with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer would be alive 5 years later.

Very sorry to hear that. The most important thing for you now is to be supportive of mom, depends on what course of treatment they want to work with, if any. They may or may not offer treatment options. Treatments may or may not work at this stage. Those can be hard on the patient. Then it gets into quality of life concerns. If your mom is told they will not do any more treatment, then it's about making her as comfortable as possible. Regardless, make time to be able to spend as much time as you can with her. Do what you can for her. Settle what you can with her while you can. Tell her how much you love her, and how much you appreciate all she is to you. The most important thing for her is hope for as long as possible. Hope will help her fight, and will to live counts for a lot. Each case is different. Lance Armstrong beat all the odds. Hope her case is one of those. But, if not, your support will mean so much. The more you can be there for her, the easier it will be. My mother had lung cancer also. Stage 4. She had chemo, things looked better for awhile, but she lost the battle unexpectedly. I only mention her to say this: Every journey is different. The odds are not good. But her medical team will explain the situation. Take this seriously. Spend all the time you can, so that you have no regrets.

I'm so very sorry about your mom's diagnosis. It's always good to be hopeful, my dad was one of the 2% that survived 5 years after diagnosis, so we were blessed. But you also must be realistic, discuss this with her and her doctor. See what her oncologist believes would be the best and most humane treatment. Sometimes chemo and/or radiation can prolong life and improve quality. Sometimes it can't. Please take care.

Wow... that is a lot of info and I doubt if it can all be answered on here. in a nut shell Preventative: healthy life style, stress free, healthy diet Improve health: alkalize your body, exercise, supplements, medical treatment often helps. Related issues: Pneumonia, weight loss, depression, pain, metastasis. Alternatives: I am a believer in alternative in a holistic way. To help overcome cancer, one has to change the WHOLE outline of themselves. Give the body what it lacks to help the body heal. To go into more detail, feel free to email me to discuss.
